Hayes Apartments has set a new standard for luxury city centre living in Cardiff. The studio, one and two bedroom homes have been designed for the discerning client so an elegant theme runs through the integrated campaign.
We designed the original marketing suite on St Mary’s Street, creating and hanging wallpaper made from of a series of lifestyle photographs taken for the campaign. Bespoke furniture commissioned by a local expert helped to give the suite a luxurious feel and high-end brochures allowed the target audience a glimpse into life in the apartments.
A garden party was conceived to open the Hayes show apartment as a nod to the courtyard gardens found in the apartments that are unique to the city. We turned the launch into a quintessentially British affair by adding grass and plants to St Mary’s Street and serenading the guests with a string quartet. More on the Hayes Apartment launch.
Now St David’s is open, the marketing suite has moved to the second floor of the centre where the well-appointed nature of the apartments continues through the specially selected décor. Housed in a temporary shop unit the suite is designed to be portable without compromising the design.
To continue to raise awareness, we developed an advertising campaign from a stylised photo shoot depicting life in the apartments. We organised the entire shoot including sourcing the models, selecting the photographer and art directing the session. Take a look behind the scenes at the photoshoot.
Our thanks extend to St David’s retailers who kindly loaned us numerous products for the shoot including a Cartier watch. The ad campaign appeared in local and national media including strategically selected bill boards, Grazia and the Metro.
