The UHS online brand experience brief
UHS are a leading hospitality furniture supplier, creating and delivering inspiring interior design solutions for hotels, restaurants and bars. They came to us because of our experience and insight in the interior design and contract furniture market.

UHS presented us with the objective of redesigning their website so that it attracted designers, architects and corporates, combined with a brief to ensure visitors fully engaged with the brand online.

Design insight
From market research conducted with key suppliers,  a common theme emerged that being able to configure and tailor products was a key requirement for the the pre-purchase decision maker, and this functionality was something that should be included in the website.Having key product information was also important to furniture specifiers, allowing quick referencing and helping speed up their decision making progress.

Completed website design project
UHS now has a website that not only delivers an integrated online branding experience, but also performs the key objectives set out in the design brief. The introduction of a 360 configurator allows users to customise and modify their fabric and finish on a 3D model, helping improve the user experience and interaction of the site, as well as making furniture design choices simpler. A custom API that talks to their ERP system also allows trade purchasing on the site.
