THINKING WORKS

Thinking Works supply the commercial furniture industry globally with leading edge products. They began in 1984, before a company take-over in 2001 rebranded them as Thinking Ergonomix.

Since then we have updated their name to become Thinking Works, in order to help reposition them and strengthen the brand within the global market place – we launched this back in 2013 at Clerkenwell Design Week.

We’ve also worked with them to develop a whole range of marketing materials for their unique product ranges, in particular the Blade table which has its own microsite and advertising campaign.

“ThinkingWorks is an Australian based company designing and manufacturing commercial furniture.  We came across Stills through our London showroom when Chris Carpenter was recommended as a judge for a graphic design competition we were running as a promotion in London.  After a few chats with Chris, it became obvious to me Chis and the team at Stills were leaders in graphic design, as well as website design, building and hosting.
ThinkingWorks was at a stage where we needed to take our branding and website to the next level so we were on the lookout for a new graphics partner, but the big question for an Australian company was obvious – if we were to engage Stills, how will this work given we’re on the other side of the world?  Chris built a support team around our specific requirements and to be frank, with today’s technology, a few Skype calls to make sure Stills knew our company personality, they were able to help re-create our brand to exactly what we wanted.  It was pretty simple and quite seamless.
Stills has organised and directed a few photo shoots, designed new brochures, designed print advertisements, they designed and host our website, built an interactive product micro-site, and created a binder app.
I would highly recommend Stills for any organisation looking to be on trend with graphics or websites.  They’re the best at what they do, they have a sense of humour and are easy to work with which is exactly what ThinkingWorks wanted.”

Thinking Works weren’t interested in going down the same road as their competitors, so we came up with a whole new way for them to get their message across. We’ve developed eye-catching concept led product brochures, right through from the photography to the end result working closely with their product design team.

As Thinking Works are proud of their environmental sustainability and Global Thinking, we’ve also developed an iPad app for the product brochures, so like them we’re keeping our focus Forward Thinking.

Here’s a look at a selection of the brochures that we created for Thinking Works. These are unlike anything else out there in the field.
