2020 FURNITURE DESIGN

Background

Furniture manufacturers 2020 specialise in soft seating, acoustic screens, modular systems, dining and laminated furniture. The company felt that in order to continue their successful growth over recent years, they needed a new visual identity to better reflect the personality of their brand.

Challenge

The key objectives of this project were to improve brand awareness, and to ensure that the company’s passion shone through their branding to make an impactful first impression on prospective customers. We also wanted to create an overall brand image that would be recognisable as 2020 with or without the marque itself through the use of colour, type, photography and graphic style. A detailed website scope also took place, as it was important to develop a website that was both aesthetically pleasing and easy to use.

Result

We designed a new brand style that reflects the personality and core values of the 2020 brand. The results of our brand blueprint process enabled us to develop brand guidelines, a tone of voice and a company overview. The various shapes of the furniture itself also influenced design features. The rebrand package included a new brand marque, a refreshed website design, product examples and printed materials.
